An introductory course for qualified therapists interested in working with couples / relationships.

The course includes theoretical elements of couples work plus practical elements such as intake and screening, session format and worksheets. 

While the course is introductory level, it is sufficient to begin working with couples with materials to take away and suggestions for future CPD as topics become relevant in your clinical work.

  • Power in relationships, 

  • Relationship stages, 

  • Common presenting problems 

  • Relationship diversity

  • Sex and Sexuality

  • Skills for working with couples

The workshop had lots of practical advice for getting started in couples' therapy.

Glenda’s couples counselling training was just what I needed to give me the confidence to branch out into couples work. Her knowledge on the subject was vast, taken from her own intensive training which she distilled down to a really useful course for therapists and counsellors who are already trained. She was able to share relevant examples of her own couples work with fish bowls so the learning experience was punchy, dynamic and relevant.
